What are the definitions of conventional terminals for automotive generator regulator, what are the characteristics of P / D regulator, PCM regulator and Lin regulator, what are the basic characteristics / functions of the regulator, and what are the differences between single function regulator and multi-function regulator.
1. Conventional terminal definition of automotive generator regulator:
B +: output terminal of generator
F: Connect the excitation coil.
E: Ground.
P: Detect the state of generator phase signal.
S: Connected to the positive pole of the battery to detect the battery voltage
C: Used to reduce the output of the generator and reduce the engine load.
50: Battery indicator,.
Ig: ignition switch connected to car
Fr or DFM: computer controller connected to the vehicle
R: Provide excitation current when the generator starts
W: Connecting the computer controller
2. P / d end regulator
P: Connect the vehicle ECU and feed back the working state of the regulator.
D: Connect the vehicle ECU. Drive the regulator to work.
Stator: detect the state of generator phase signal
3. PCM regulator
RC: receives PWM signal from ECU and drives regulator.
Li: connect the ECU of the car. Feed back the working state of the regulator and adjust the PWM input.
4. Lin regulator
Lin or C: upgraded version of PCM regulator. The PCM control is changed into programmable load response control feature and two-way communication interface
5. Basic characteristics of the regulator:
Speed characteristics
Voltage regulation
temperature coefficient
Load characteristics
Power module voltage drop
Load rejection withstand voltage
Leakage current
Speed of pressure building
6. Function of regulator
Self excitation function
Load delay response
Soft start
Low voltage warning
Over voltage warning
Short circuit protection function.
7. What are the differences between single function regulator and multi-function regulator
Single function regulator refers to only the basic function of regulator, voltage regulation function
Multi function regulator refers to one or more functions such as short circuit protection and soft start besides the basic characteristics of the regulator
